LOVING WORD MINISTRIES

Teaching the Loving Word of God

HOME MISSIONS

Loving Word Ministries is an independent non-denominational home missions ministry for all people of all faiths everywhere.  This ministry has both a local and virtual presence so that we're able to reach anyone around the world via the remote facilities of the world wide web.   Our online presence is prayerfully dedicated to all of the sick, shut in, distressed, discouraged, bereaved, incarcerated, and our dear brothers and sisters all over the world who dearly love the Lord.  Some of our ministry services are limited to local areas (such as emergency response ministry and organ repair services)

Our primary goal has always been and continues to be Teaching the Loving Word of God.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. -1 John 4:7-8

BIBLE STUDY

"Teaching the Loving Word of God"

The Holy Bible is God's letter to you!

You may or may not be aware that there are many churches and religious organizations and teachers who have added many doctrines.  Religious practices, rules and man made traditions which are not found in scripture, and many times go directly against the teachings of the Holy Bible.

Our Bible studies are biblically focused, without added traditions or doctrines.  Many denominations disagree with our teachings because they contradict their man made church doctrines.  But it is our mission to teach the truth, regardless of how it may conflict with the traditions of other organizations.  It is incredibly important for followers of Christ to study His Word, and not just take somebody's word for what it says.  You can't take any book and open it up to a random page and read one sentence and figure out what the book says.  The same is true for the Holy Bible.  That's why we study chapter by chapter and verse by verse, so that we get the full picture of what is being taught.

PASTORAL COUNSELING

We offer pastoral counseling services approaching mental health issues from a faith-based perspective.

Our goal is to help you with the challenges of life.  We can't change difficult situations of the past, but we can work together to develop wisdom and understanding using the Holy Bible as our foundation.  Mostly, we help you think about your current situation in a new way. Providing a new perspective on the situation is the first step in change. We also help to increase the level of communication so that the thoughts and feelings which have previously been unspoken are brought out into the open. We assist you in learning new ways of dealing with relationships and life situations using the guidance of the bible.

NOTE: Pastoral Counselors are not medical doctors and do not prescribe medications. In situations where we believe medication or further therapy which we don't or can't provide would be helpful, you will be referred to a psychiatrist or psychologist.  In some cases, pastoral counseling can continue, and the psychiatrist will supervise the person's medication.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE MINISTRY

Our Emergency Response Ministry Team provides urgent ministry services to those in need where they may not have a home church or their pastor is unavailable.

Some services provided:

NOTE: We DO NOT provide ANY Emergency Medical Services! Our services are focused on pastoral care only.

These services are focused on individuals with emergent needs where there is no home church available. Pickup/Deliver services are offered when an individual has no other means of service (family/friends/church etc).

Because some individuals may abuse these services by taking advantage when other options are available to them, we will monitor each case for abuse/misuse. We have the right to refuse services to anyone, for any reason. We are a volunteer based ministry, services are provided based on availability of personnel and resources.

CHURCH ETHICS TRAINING

Ethics training for ministry leadership

There is a difference between ethics and morals. Ethics do not change. Morals reflect the changing whims of culture. For a follower of Christ, ethics must be rooted in the truths revealed in God's Word to inform and nurture our moral conduct.  We must learn to think from biblical standpoints and identify how we relate to our current culture.

The main focus of this training will be for people who are in leadership in their ministries.  Biblical ethical ways of leading and dealing with situations that are encountered as a leader in a ministry.  Even though the focus will mainly be for church leadership, we don't restrict training as we will also study the moral principles required by God of His children in their homes, workplaces, local church, and the communities they live in.

HAMMOND ORGAN SERVICE & REPAIR

We offer vintage Hammond organ routine maintenance and repair services.

Almost all vintage Hammond organs are now at the age where they need service to be put back into proper and safe operation.  Hammond stopped producing tone wheel organs in 1975.  This would put your organ at 45+ years old.  These organs require routine maintenance.  In addition to to normal maintenance, many of the original electronic components such as wax capacitors, are beyond their expected life and should be replaced. Also, the original AC wiring becomes brittle and unsafe as it breaks down over time.  This could cause issues from organ malfunction, fire and even give you a shock (possibly electrocution).  If you notice symptoms of hum, hiss, pop and crackles, dull and lifeless sound, noisy keys, noisy and/or non working drawbars, pitch of organ sharp or flat, it's due for maintenance and repair.

PLEASE NOTE: In general, we only work on electro-mechanical Hammond organs with a tone wheel generator.  If you have a later transistor digital organ (examples: concord, aurora, X5, X66, B100, B200, XB, XK, SK etc), our ability to do repairs on these is very limited.
